Mr Reason Allegations.....media scrutiny...celeb accused....historical claims.....ahem, partly the reason this message board owner exists in cyberspace nowadays?

For all the messages and discussion on this board ref false allegation and trial by media and false convictions (as disputed) i thought it was obvious, but maybe not.

Anyway, I should really be using the one thread as mentioned, but the original snook through
Ben 9 What's all that got to do with Bill Roache?

Mr Reason I know the debate on these pages................but regardless of the length of time, if an allegation is made that is criminal, it is a criminal allegation....time should not negate that.

If an investigation then leads to tenuous 'evidence' or skewed testimony, then its the jurys job in law to decipher it, providing the CPS think there is balance of evidence to weigh up.....the CPS might decide there is no or little evidence stage 1 end of, no case to answer, if there is evidence they balance the likelyhood of the evidence standing up , stage 2, if the eveidence is enough in the eyes of the CPS, it goes further to trial, stage 3.......stage 4 a Jury, as per the laws of the land...........

.......i'll leave the debate to others on the merits of complex legal arguments and evidence deciphering to a jury made up of 'men / women from the street'.......not everyone can folow instruction, be removed from the emotional and are able to weigh up arguements in a yes / no envirnoment..........I wouldn't want my mum on a jury.If I looked guilty, she'd send me down....and thats part of the problem
