hedda I find this fascinating and a problem that demonstrates politicians are hopelessly out of touch.

I'm following a case closely whereby a friend in Adelaide is suing Google for a fortune for allowing defamatory info to remain which effectively ruined her professional career.

I expect her to win big time but Google are relentless- they treat each case separately despite precedents being set.

Politicians add to the problem : they allow Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Youtube etc to be based in cyberspace (tax havens) while destroying jobs and paying little or no tax.

Something must give.

### the lawyer interviewed in the article isn't up to speed...(hedda is an authority on these matters)..

a Melbourne man has won case after case by suing first Yahoo then Google for defamatory blogs and importantly : their listings on search engines.

In fact he is cleaning up big time in each case.
