It's getting huge buzz already; several foreigners love the Cambridge/Charterhouse and London sequences and Americans love all the Paris/Amsterdam/Cannes/Italy stuff as well as enjoying the North Africa footage. The James Bond type spoof element is amusing the Brits and there is massive positive reaction to the music from the Far East and China (one of our Sound team was Chinese - he's now back there spreading the word via Chinese You Tube).
One of our older friends (in her 70s) says her favourite bits are the Molveno Dolomites footage to When I Fall In Love (I was delighted to get sync rights from the publishers of that wonderful song and, of course, I used a tribute cello arrangement to the fabulous Nelson Riddle arrangement on it) and A Very Very Melancholy Man (always one of my personal favourite JK songs).

Thomas Bangalter's dad is Daniel Vangarde - who was the chap responsible for those Gibson Brothers & Ottowan hits in the late 70s/early 80s

In an extraordinary co-incidence (check the Daft Punk thread on the Tipsheet board) Thomas from Daft Punk has an uncle in the movie industry whose best friend is a distributor who wants to distribute The Pink Marble Egg to cinemas all over France!
