NO. The authorities are not writing to Radio Luxembourg, because it no longer exists, as such. Abeit RTL (the owners in Germany).
Even the Mirror talks bollocks. Were all the pupils at Duncroft, chancers? I think so. They can't prove a thing to get monies from non existent no evidence Court cases, so they try & sue every other outlet...How do you sue without proof? If you have an accident, you need proof & the accident needs to have been put in the accident book. In this case, there's no proof of abuse & nothing was ever recorded. Sue? How?
I agree. This is ambulance chasing lawyers trawling as well.
Hack lawyers tell these deluded woman they'll sue for no upfront fee but that's only when they are 100% sure they can win....they won't even make a phone call without being paid.
I hope JK is correct and Savile's heirs fight the claimants. the alleged victims will cop the legal fees if they can't prove their case (10 years down the track)
And C.Retro is correct...charities staking claims for a shrinking market and donation base. |

How can they due a radio station that doesn't exist anymore? Even the Internet era Radio Luxembourg has closed. |

I also forgot another important point.
Jimmy Savile didn't work at Radio Luxembourg until March 1960. Where does this 1958, come from? |

There is one connection played down here - this one one leading Children's Charity vs another.
This is not an attack on Jimmy Savile, the BBC and society in general - this is a staged battle by the NSPCC on Barnados.
He's a master tactician that former vice chariman of the NSPCC, y'know. |
