Last night I watched as much as I could bear of the film about Kenny Everett. There must be thousands of people who look a bit like Kenny Everett so I dont know why they picked the very least Everettish to play him. It was dreadful.

No, not a better description of me but a movie from 2000 based on the brilliant Anne Rice novel and it's dreadful. I adored her books because of all the clever subtleties and shades of character in the vampires. The CG effects are good and Aaliyah is terrific (what a sad loss that girl was - dying at 22) but the film is terrible and the worst thing of all is the appalling music.
Had the DVD for ages and never got around to watching it until last night.
