andrew I do prefer JK version the violins work well and JK's voice is class.
JK2006 I adored the single (and the album) which was a huge US hit but did nothing at all here in the UK which infuriated me.
My version is very different from the ELO one and features my famous one solo violin hook (as used on many others from Loop di Love to It Only Takes A Minute).
You might find my treatment grows on you.
Vince W It was written by Jeff Lynne and featured on ELO's brilliant Eldorado album.

I have to say I prefer the original as it was on one of the first singles I ever bought (The ELO EP waaaaaaaaay back in 1978)
