JK2006	Someone has pointed out that poor David Lowe probably heard the song hundreds of times on the BBC - always my (Nemo) version - and assumed I hadn't changed the word. For me it was essential not just to be PC but to keep the sense and the scan. Negroes fits perfectly - "now he's coming back to do the same to you". Which doesn't suit the major surgery changing it to "peanuts".
JK2006	Delighted messages from purchasers of The Sun Has Got His Hat On on the album. I suspect my royalties on this recording will pay for my summer holidays. Thank you, BBC, Daily Mail and David Lowe (and, of course, that other great Noel - Gay).
