JK2006 Winner of this year's MITS Award strangely, for the first time, the ceremony was not hosted by Paul Gambaccini - something I hope Annie mentioned in her acceptance speech.

Interesting that, in their Previous Recipients list in their programme, I am one of the few honoured (1997) by simply my name - and no description of my position in the Industry or even the World. I've requested that they call me a Vile Pervert but there's no humour there.

Annie is, incidentally, a very nice person as well as a hugely talented lady.
