DJones I think so, but as far as I understand it, the artists have first to register with SoundExchange.

On the unpaid artists list are major british stars like the Animals and Kim Wilde.

SoundExchange
Bemuso Would they automatically feed through to PPL for the UK?
Martin K It might be aol, but that list is so small on my computer that I cannot read what came up at all.
DJones SoundExchange is a US non-profit organisation which distributes royalties for digital transmissions (webcasts, satellite radio) to artist and labels (owners of the rights to sound recordings)

I just checked to see if I could claim some money and discovered that since 1/2/96 all the records I was involved in together were aired zero times.

This shock was only slightly relieved when i fooled around with their database and discovered that
JK only had 7 (seven!) plays (all Everyone's Gone To The Moon).

And guess how many times records from Stiff were played: 77

So much for the diversity of Internet & Satellite radio!
