It might be worth finding out who has the film rights, that could work well. I havent read it so I have no idea what it is about, assuming it`s a light hearted story, then, there you go,as a theme tune it would be perfect. It would have been great in "Something about Mary", but Jonathan Richmond and "Build Me Up Buttercup" dominated that one.
That`s kind of the way I see that song as a way forward.
It must be noted, that compared to many current releases, without a hit, there is no way forward at all. I can think of many bands with that problem, whose new records I have, the whole genre has to be in the song first and not the image. How many companies are neglecting this very simple ethic?
I will not name bands on this subject, which is not the original discussion, but I can enjoy their sound today, but would I want to hear it in 10-20 years time? Probably not.

Wonder if they need a TV commercial?

I recall this one well. My honest opinion was and is the same as it is now, yes it`s hit material, but it came out at a time when the content was a bit obvious, as to where the hook was coming from.
Sorry matey, great tune, nil points from me for a hit.
There you go Tipsters, I didnt back him up on this one!
