Sorry I did not Live at Rainbow. I had live in Glasgow.

Couple of years ago the latest compilation was number 1 on Amazon rankings for weeks.
It's music at the end of the day. I bought GG live at the Rainbow in a second hand record about 9 years ago, got a little look for the dealer, he put in a paper back said £5 please. Played it non stop.
When I worked in Tesco (Yes work ITK.) I got talking to another co-worker about Glam Rock, of course GG was mentioned she mentioned she stills has her GG signed posters, books, ticket stubs and laser-disks, even demo tapes she said 'It's only music she said it's a personal taste'.

I received an advertising email offering a range of Gary Glitter compilations from Amazon.co.uk recently. I have never searched Amazon for Gary Glitter or bought any of his CDs - so I assume it was a blanket advertising campaign.
A lot of people must like his music for Amazon to promote him so heavily

It's only music. I heard in the 80's and 90's Gary Glitter and Glitter Band did not sing or play they mimed at gigs and of course on TV. Not sure it's true but very plausible.

No Angel, it happens to all of us. Brain washing is by definition subtle and effective. That's why I'm not mentioned much in traditional media these days; the drip drip drip of socially controlled media has its effect. But, in the overall scheme of things, who gives a shit? Makes you wonder about the accuracy of history, though.
