JK2006 Nice tribute to Pete on Ch4 news last night but they tended, like others, to focus on his social significance whereas, for me, he was a terrific song writer, penning some of the greatest songs of the past century.
andrew I had a good number of compilations in the past. Pete and Arlo is worth looking out for.

JK2006 I didn't realise he did Guantanamera back in 1963 - fabulous...

JK2006 Aged 94 - not a bad age - but, listening to him sing his beautiful Where Have All The Flowers Gone? - he always SOUNDED 94.
