I seem to remember that the Prime Minister (Sir Alex Douglas-Hume?) was also passing through the airport and no one took any notice !
JK2006 I knew Sid too; fat but lovely man. Bramwell; perhaps you're related to the Brontes? Actually somewhere I have MY Bramwell's contact details so I'll e-m him direct.

We do have thousands visiting every day. Nowhere near as many as when we started (10,000 a day back 10-15 years ago) but still a lot. More now to the Your Views board than to this Tipsheet Forum, as those who care about music disappear into bland offices in Kensington.
Bramwell JK, I was there in the '60s but it's not me, sorry.

JK2006 I've been to very few football games but went last December to the FIFA World Cup Final in Marrakech between Casablanca and Munich - terrific atmosphere, great fun. No Dave Clark though.

I assume you are talking about football?

The last match I attended was Valencia Vs Man City (in Valencia) in 1973 (Malcolm Alison was still manager).
