mrlemon I watched the 1998 John Shuttleworth comedy programme Europigeon last week. It's from 1998; John Shuttleworth is entering a song for the 1998 contest. He had to send it to BASCA - who chose the song. When he got wanted his tape back he was informed BASCA destroy all the tapes. A man called Jonathan King was mentioned several times...!
NCS What they care about is living a charmed life and rubbing shoulders with 'stars' or big - in their minds - music biz execs.

Because they're cloth-eared and can't recognise a winning song, they play it safe. Then congratulate themselves and enjoy mutual back-slapping but soon forget about the crummy entry it after it fails.

The artist will fade into oblivion too, no doubt.
JK2006 "Not the fault of the song", said Ken Bruce. Sorry Ken, as usual, it was totally the wrong, third division song; very much the typical BBC Introducing selection - poorly paid optimists with bad ears who like to think they can spot a hit.

This losers way of running Eurovision reflects the losers running the music industry too. Cloth eared weaklings with no courage, ability or energy. Who simply don't really care.
