And the BBC New York office was wonderful then; exciting, fun - Tom Brook was my Editor on radio, the divine Ursula Kenny ran the department - she was Mary Kenny's sister and a strong witness for me - that I was in New York with her at a movie (Back To The Future) when my conviction of an offence in London allegedly took place... but sadly she died before she could give evidence. British Justice triumphs again! Make sure your prosecutions are for so long ago that all real witnesses are dead. A clever trick.

Well we all have to start somewhere don't we; sadly most of us never get more than a few paces beyond the starting blocks!

Debbie Harry is starting to look as though she should be starring in Sunset Boulevard. She's ready for her closeup Mr De Mille! I knew her when she was a receptionist at the BBC New York office. She was a brunette then.
