JK2006 I've known Simon since before John's Children, Robbie… and we had a catchup dinner a few years ago.
robbiex jk, do you know Simon Napier-Bell, Japan were probably my favourite every group, with T-rex not far behind.
DJones Two of the best music books of the last 12, 18 months are Bob Stanley's Yeah Yeah Yeah. The Story of Modern Pop and Ta-ra-ra-boom-de-ay. The Business of Popular Music by Simon Napier-Bell, who provides a very well researched account of the always changing music industry: from sheet music sales to today's downloads and streams.


For music & sex there is Viv Albertine's Clothes Clothes Clothes Music Music Music Boys Boys Boys.
JK2006 Preferably about music - the obsession of the last century - and not about sex (this century's dominant topic).
