He was very nice to me, but then again, most people are.
I think his voice is good but not unusually so, but his delivery is excellent, and his style unusual.

I've often said the three most under rated great singers of the 70s were Peter Gabriel, Elvis Costello and Bryan Ferry
Must be your sense of humour coming to the fore, rather than any sarcasm, JK: Elvis Costello has an abhorrent voice and is one of the most obnoxious, arrogant, self-satisfied people around. And that's just his good side.
