Kev	Groan...My pre-teen nieces are obsessed with her. I think the UK's record buying public are perhaps a little too low in numbers and too clever to fall for it. It's the parents buying the product because the kids want it, do you think the pre-teens in the UK would be anymore clever than the US? Personally I think aimed at this age group it would work in the UK.
Red	Groan...My pre-teen nieces are obsessed with her. She's on Walt Disney Records (of course, lol), and her real name is Miley Cyrus. The whole Monkees-style TV Personality/Popstar crossover is a cunning and timeless ploy, but I think the UK's record buying public are perhaps a little too low in numbers and too clever to fall for it. I can't even recall the last TV personality/recording artist crossover in the UK (X-Factor et al aside), are we talking Delta Goodrem?
Kev	.....its about television 1st.So why, other than the X-Factor, is nothing else being done this way in the UK?

GG (producer)	Very interesting how much product they are selling. Huge sales. The driver is the TV show. Its getting a lot of press on the business pages over here. Same reason the Olsen Twins are Billionaires, or why Ashlee Simpson can sell 4 million albums.....its about television 1st. Maybe I should be paying more attention to that demographic!
