Deleting it every couple of months makes me remember how I used to re-record over the blank tapes I had in the 80's, I dread to think what great stuff I must have erased and taped over back in those days that I should have kept, but then I didn't have the money to keep buying new ones.
You can't argue with £20 can you, I'd sure love to compare the sound quality of your one with an Apple device.
I have always have digital back ups Rich. I don't use the MP3 player a lot but it's always charged and ready to go when needed.
I remember the blank tape days, I remember cheap ones in discount stores which just got eaten when recording. I still have a Damn Yankees on tape but it's sounds crap compared to the CD. |

How have you been getting on with that MP3 player you bought for £20?
8GB memory would be useless for me, my one has 128GB capacity, mind you it did cost £300.
I discovered a function on mine (Apple Touch 7th Gen) a few months ago where you can play continuous sound in your ears like rain, ocean, stream, balanced, bright or dark noise. I've found dark noise to be quite relaxing in blotting out background noises I don't want to hear and allowing me to concentrate without distraction. I even discovered there are YT videos with various coloured noise sounds, so it's quite a thing with a lot of people.
It does me well Rich, every 2 months or so I delete the old songs and add new stuff on to it. At the moment, I have Van Zant, the complete Blackberry Smoke discography and all the Quiet Riot stuff. |

I love your responses Rich, I have had ringing in my ears for years, but when I am out music helps. I do use public transport from time to time as buses are still fairly cheaper on some routes than driving.
I bought this one. www.argos.co.uk/product/9159938?clickPR=plp:1:2
I went a bit old school and found a torrent site many are still working. I managed to download complete and fit on Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot studio albums, a box set of the Bay City Rollers and complete 38 Special.
I am hoping Molly Hatchet does make a stop in the UK next year they are doing a tour in Germany later in the year. |
