"That was me in the Seventies. I didn't have time to call around and find a van insurance quote back then". That was the price of fame, Andy, mate. In fact it's strange the likes of Bowie, Elton, Macca, Bolan and co never wrote a song about it. Lovely little singles band though, The Sweet.

Brian's decline was awful to witness but what great records. Oh those were happy days and what magnificent music from Chinnichap. Phil Wainman and the team.
Cowcumber and Possett
Fab group. And led by blonde bombshell Brian Connolly. Saw him on stage at a club in Nottingham in his final years, the man was barely alive but still singing great. His original band-mates having deserted him by then, he was accompanied by three grungy youngsters with no shortage of chest wigs flying about.

A Pointless answer - but what a great group and some truly wonderful 70s hits. Blockbuster? Magnificent. Fox On The Run? Brilliant. Teenage Rampage? Fabulous. Not to mention Ballroom Blitz, Little Willy and others.
