Studio 3 is a tight focused technological marvel, a truly great mix room. 2 is well, 2! Another thing is the people. Really great people.

I would hate to see it out of the hands of EMI. They dumped the Town House (to the Sanctuary Group) which is another still viable studio, yet Abbey Road is Abbey Road.
DJones Simon Wallis at Collins Stewart said EMI's results were in line with the market's low expectations.
He highlighted a "kitchen sink" of exceptional operating costs:
