Chris Retro Always thought those Marvin & Tammii duets capture the essence of joy - I still do in spite of the knowledge now that the later ones were recorded under a cloud of tragedy and some are actually Valerie Simpson standing in for the ailing Tammii. When I first started discovering the old Motown records as a teenager in the late 80s, their Greatest Hits in particular leapt out at me
JK2006 And a lesser known Hollies gem I'll Be True To You, Yes I Will; surely the most under rated British group of the 60s.
