In a radically different genre, I feel the same way about Mary Fahl... Really good voice, I like her songs. You only see her one video on Classic FM TV.
Sony Classical only released (by 'released' I mean 'started selling it' there was no marketing that impinged on my world and nothing on the wireless) in the UK 2005. I'd spent $30 to import the CD... and it was worth every penny...

She's pretty hot too

After a bit of research on Joshua Kadison, I found out the following information:
In the early 1990's Joshua Kadison caught the attention of EMI and they signed him, he went on to have amazing radio success all over the world with his classic song 'Jessie'.
His second album Deliah Blue was less commercially successful, the only single 'Take It On Faith' failed to reach a high chart position (failed to reach the Billboard Top 10), and shortly after EMI Group voided their contract with Kadison.
He had a separate deal with Capitol / EMI Music Germany, and the excellent 'Essential Joshua Kadison' album was released in Germany this Summer
Makes you wonder what UK A&R are up to at the moment
All sat twiddling their thumbs, waiting for potential hits, and this guy has a huge amount of talent!!
(Must be something to do with his initials)

I first heard this song whilst presenting a showcase for a popular Australasian pub chain.
The version I heard was a lot faster and very much more guitar driven than this version, and me and my mate , who had the unfortunate job of holding the clipboards, for comments, had to turn the band that played it down to the strength of their other choice of material.
It is a cracker of a song, and thanks for sharing it.
