I think TV and Radio DO still sell music. It's likely that Lionel Richie will have the No.1 album this weekend, and Florence No. 2. The Who will be up there somewhere and a handful of Kanye West albums are back in the charts.
In the old days, volumes would suffer in hot weather as people avoid the high street, but I suspect downloading and streaming are not affected by the weather.

I would have thought that the electric and wonderful performance (on radio anyway; I was tuned to Radio Two) would have sent this track back to the top of the charts. But what do I know?
