So will Sheet Music ever be re released

Nicely explained there JK, thank you. A lot of people in the business, past or present, wouldn't have done that.

Oh no, Sheet Music was totally ours at UK Records and remains so. The tiny royalty was explained to the band on initial signing (which was why their offer to give me the publishing was turned down; I told them they could get far more from another company; making their rewards greater). And the royalty rose over the years - meaning that, after 5 years, when free, they would be in a position to ask a fortune from a major. Meanwhile UK would lose a fortune in the first two years (investing far more in trying to break them globally), would break even in Year Three and make our profits in Years 4 and 5. At the start the band were delighted with this, regarding it as entirely fair. Then, of course, hits happened and greed set in. Which is why they never reached the heights they deserved, split up early and became a footnote in musical history as opposed to the major force they deserved to be. Bit like Chumbawamba - one big hit, screw those who helped them get it, end of career, less impact, less cash, one hit wonders. Fools.

Hadn't your involvement ceased JK as they already shuffled over to Phonogram? No doubt miffed at receiving 4% of something (if indeed they received that much).

Although I gather Graham's band puts on a good show and the sound is excellent. I don't think Eric could tour since his accident even if he wanted to and of course Kev and Lol chose to get out and into video ages ago. Sadly, had JK remained involved I'm sure the band would still be together, recording and into different inventive creative areas.
