Walter Sobchak The track and the video are both beyond awful. They are not even faintly commercial or artistic. The original had flair, outrageous tackiness topped with a dash of style. This new version has none . Shame on all concerned.

I actually own the whole copy and it worked best when a rather good vocalist decided to sing over it, and I let her have a radio mic to do this. The bass end is not a problem as I alter eq all night(you have to when you go from Girls Aloud to Beatles etc), without meaning to be rude, I am still waiting for the ultimate version of this song.
I think the mix is fine, but it would benefit from using the samples and mix as they are and getting a new vocal on the top. My audience are not "getting it" as much as I hoped.
zooloo It could be the Internet quality but for me it lacks "ooomph". The bass-end isn't very strong and that's the bit that gets my aunt Lil going.

Given a choice I'd play the original.

It is worth doing though as I'm sure there's another generation of RHPS fans in the waiting.
