STRATEGY I assume you're aware of this blog article by Nick Warburton about Hedgehoppers Anonymous? There is detail on the non-release of their Wild Thing recording...

JK2006 Chip is a great writer (Angel of the Morning) and his first commercial recording was my production by Hedgehoppers Anonymous for the followup to It's Good News Week - it didn't work so I let Larry Page and the Troggs do it instead!
PaulB Just re-read my post. I should add that Chip Taylor is still alive and kicking (last I heard), in case the past tense made you wonder.
I could have worded it better.
PaulB I used to think 'The Goodies' did the best version of 'Wild Thing' until I heard The Cristeas.
I'm sure Chip Taylor would have approved.
