Yes I found the same Mike; hundreds of questions about Jason Flom and the downloads in the UK chart and Doug Morris secrets and where were Ames and Nicoli... but very little (except yourself) about music!
I still love AICHA!

By the way, while I'm being nice to the Loard of The Board, I must also say something else: I spent a week talking about ad-supported revenues, platforms, the subscription model and added-value content. Nearly the only music chat I had over that time was with JK. Either we are both sad old-fashioned gits on the way out, or some people are forgetting what they come to a music fair for (and what people look for - I can't remember anyone ever asking me if I had heard any good "content" recently).

Have to say, many labels are still suffering from the fall in physical sales and the new income streams haven't picked up yet.
Also a noticeable lack of really strong music. Best concert (for me) was the mighty Salif Keita, whose band puts musicians worldwide to shame. The reggaeton bash was a very cobbled-together affair. Previous years have seen lots of excitement about metal and Latin, etc. Nothing I can really say this time.
One of my Midem moments was cappuccino with JK. There was no missing that jacket. But I managed to miss the car (I would have hitched a lift)!
I also discovered there is a creditable band in CAnnes itself: Motel at www.motel-music.net/ They call it psychedelic electronic music.
