JK2006 Check out the thread on Your Views Dixie - yes people see One Direction who weren't even as big as The Monkees or The BCRs - let alone Beatles. Times have changed; the music appealed across the board. Grandfathers were fans.
dixie I saw it yesterday at my local cinema. The film was being streamed live across hundreds of cinemas. It really was a great experience. Ron Howard re-told the story well, and particularly got across the humour the guys had. And, to be honest, I'd forgotten just how big the band were in the USA. So huge - and the first at being so huge!!
JK2006 Yes this is at the top of my wish list too Pru.
Pru Ron Howard's movie about The Beatles' touring years. Cinema release on Thursday - really looking forward to this. I assumed, given that all four of my local cinemas are showing the movie at exactly the same time and day, that there'd be loads of free seats, but luckily I checked yesterday and three cinemas were sold out and the other one just had a few seats left, so I just managed to get a couple.
