centaur Most but not all. Not only the majors (but also some independent distributors) have direct deals with iTunes and use aggregators to administer the other platforms. It depends on the size and value of your catalog. That said, many indies, including us, would favor a direct deal with iTunes. Cut the middlemen. Makes sense when you develop hit acts and have a priority online release plan. And when you know how to encode.

Indeed JK, I need to talk to Miriam. Can you forward the contact pls to the centaur you saw in Cannes..

AWALs 15% on wholesale is ok compared to the insane rates some of the other aggregators take.
JK2006 Spot on Zoo; iTunes takes all product, most through an "Aggregator" (ours is AWAL).
zooloo As you've had no answer I give you a fairly useless one

iTunes has no A&R, it's a distributor not a manufacturer.

If you want to get onto iTunes as far as I know it's via 3rd parties - like CD Baby (I think they do, not sure), Ditto is another.
Not in the Know Can anyone please help me with an A&R contact
name and email address for someone at i tunes ?

Thanks in Advance
