Reminds me of the music they used to put on old spectrum computer games.
The most tacky thing since Little Mix (I'm still not sure if they are supposed to be a joke or not).
This thing is bad enough to be an 80s novelty record.

youtu.be/HFlgNoUsr4kIt was one of the most popular songs in Japan last year. Personally I think it's a novelty song that we in the UK just don't get, watching the guy I must say he is hilarious, I'm quite a fan now.
Music always HAS to be cool here these days so that could be a reason why we look at it with an instant dislike, maybe it's purposely crap but the irony is totally lost on us.
There could also be something culturally that we're simply not aware of. I'm sure countries who didn't know Alexei Sayle were completely bemused by Ullo John Gotta New Motor, it could well be the case with this.
I am actually a huge fan of novelty records, and listen to Japanese music a lot, but the charm of this one has completely passed me by, and I couldn't see anything amusing in it.

Funnily enough I instantly thought - a pathetic attempt to pretend to be Gangnam Style - not even worth commenting on. Then I saw the views count.
