Mart I like that Stones cover a lot.

I do wish people would use their sattelite/freeview boxes more to listen to the radio, than pointlessly have "Only Fools and Horse" on as background.
The Cat Yes, it is the same Johnnie Walker from Radio Luxemburg. In the UK radio DJs use their own names. Johnnie has always been one of the better presenters.
Stunning This morning he played ANGUS AND JULIA STONE - unsigned (well, a little label) and far better than the rubbish the big labels are force feeding playlists with. From Australia like me.

Likewise, Tuesday he played a brilliant girl group version of the Stones hit Have You Seen Your Mother - again, unsigned/small label/download only.

Incredible hearing this sort of thing at 8 in the morning on the biggest station in the UK.

He did the same with SANDI THOM who went on to have a top hit everywhere even here down under.

I listen to him on the web every time he's on. Far better for me than Terry W.
DJones If this is the Johnnie Walker I remember from 208 (Radio Luxembourg)almost 40 years ago, he is certainly one of the oldest DJs in Britain today.

In America the name of a DJ was/is often a trademark owned by the station. And lots of different on-air-talents use the name/trademark.
Kev Sounded like bed time radio to me, huge silences, lame humour, absolutely dead. I can't comment on the music 'cause I turned the station quick before I fell asleep and crashed the car.
