GG (producer) You know JK, its mind numbing to me that this guy legitimately had 20% of the gross on BSB and N'sync (massive merchandisers as well) and is apparently now broke.

All this guy had was a never ending stream of money to throw at these groups until they broke out. Years into their formation he was the one keeping them afloat.

The problem comes when he started to believe his own hype, that he knew anything about our business, other than how to supply endless streams of cash.

He has as much credibility in music/A&R, as I do in running an airline.

Interestingly enough, and somewhat on the same subject, yesterday we were in studio talking about Hilary Duff (a Disney channel manufactured pop half-talent), after a disastrous and embarrasing performance on Jay Leno.
When a manufactured act starts believing they are an artist (something they are not) and talking about credibility and growth...........It's the beginning of the end for that act.
Michael Flabbergasting. I'm sure you've met many characters like him over the years. Most scheisters pretend to have money. He actually had it and still screwed up. It makes the Nigerian scams look like amateurs.
