andrew I found Searchers a bit twee at times. When You Walk In The Room is my favourite 60s song.

Sadly Hollies albums are very expensive and some are out of print, the compliations don't do them justice -just like DC5
Blue Boy In my opinion that title goes to The Dave Clark Five

They were massive in the 60's but for some reason their greatness and influence is not acknowledged today. Max Weinberg's drumming on lots of Springsteen uptempo numbers is straight from the DC5 playbook.
JK2006 In my opinion the two most underestimated groups from Britain in the 60s are The Searchers and The Hollies.
