try current TV.. a real tv channel, you make informational pods and they play the ones voted for by the website viewers.
theres chances for payment of your work too and dinners with Al Gore...Hmmm....

Hmm on second viewing i think their invite system is downright stupid and it is nowhere near ready for the market. It's a maybe now for me.

There seems to be a level of filtering but best of all the choice is great. As a channel surfer i dont want to be spoonfed TV programmes. Yeah have a programme list and i will watch what i want. There will be lots of channels lots of choice and i think the quality will be great. How will they and programme makers make money ?
It will never replace Telly which will imho be more locally focused but i like it. Will it have the Premiership ? Thats all im interested in.
When it comes to music well what is really important is a great show, interesting and entertaining. Having had cable with music on tap i got bored with it all.

Oh dear, they`ve launched that without thinking it over haven`t they?
It makes the basic INTERACTIVE mistake of thinking we - the viewer -
want to choose what we watch.
WRONG! We don't always want that.
With both Radio and TV we like someone we respect, admire and agree
with to choose FOR us.
We simply haven't got the time to filter. We want an online TV or Radio station we can leave on, knowing there will be gems cropping up.
That's why The Tipsheet was useful to many in the business because it
saved THEM having to filter.
The technical side of JOOST looks like it could be good but the
content already is SHIT.
Look at the giant list of available channels! I lost heart before they
are even on air.
