Anthony One of my favourite aspects of Eurovision is the party scene. If I have a talent for anything, it is ligging.

I attended the Montenegran party last night until about 4am. Great opportunity to meet the artists and delegates.

Speaking to the assembled UK press/fan corps made me realise the extent of love and respect for JK in UK Eurovision circles. I only have to mention his name and people's faces light up in a way which cannot be faked. And those who have met him all have happy memories of the banter. I have not spoken to one person who does not want JK back in charge of our Eurovision efforts.

I had a long and interesting conversation with the Norwegian Publicity officer. She was questioning the poor performance of recent UK entries. I was halfway through explaining about the golden days of JK's era when she finished my sentence with, " Yes, I know, it all went downhill after him"!

I'm getting too old for burning the candle at both ends. Signing off now with a shocking hangover, and only half a packet of painkillers remaining!
