Michael Incidentally, De Biasio is now on iTunes if anyone is interested in a dark, moody jazz chanteuse:

M
Michael Bless your heart!

A few things I learnt recently:

* It's not because you have an award-winning jazz label that distributors will get your records into shops, on- or off-line.
* Radio podcasts of one-off live events are cool, except when:
a) they cut off the beginning of your artist's stellar live performance
b) they cut off the end with a commercial break
c) they mispronounce her name three times out of three
* Never put anything temporary on a website (you know, "this little e-mail link will do until Joe does the button on Monday"). Which Monday was that exactly?

Sometimes you don't need an iceberg to spring a leak. It looks like constant hammering from enough little ice cubes will do the trick nicely too.
zooloo That I like.

If you had made it easier for me to buy the CD you would have sold one.
Michael The young jazz chanteuse Melanie De Biasio picked up an award last night in the jazz section of Belgium's Octave awards and did a sultry barefoot version of "Let me Love You".

It's a plug not a tip as I work with the label.
