Webmonkey	Funnily enough I did go to SxSW and was at the Tapes n Tapes gig. Wish I'd stayed to the end, now to see if there was something later on worth making a fuss about. I got bored halfway through and left. The biggest buzz in the brits camp seemed to be about Get Cape, Wear Cape Fly. He's certainly a great performer but not sure how it'd work on record. Just signed to Atlantic, apparently. My personal buzz bands were Oppenheimer; www.myspace.com/oppenheimer Lonely, Dear and You Say Party we Say Die. Which is probably why I'm not in A&R. Matt.

Marshy	Heard 'em on Radio 1. Got bored very quickly. Ditto most of the other bands I heard Radio 1 play from SXSW. Not overly surprising, I guess. Now this lass - www.myspace.com/gemmahayes2006 - is utterly splendid IMHO and seems not to be getting the mainstream coverage she deserves. Funny old world...
