Mart I have a lot of the singles but only "Nobody`s Fools" as an album.
I seem to have mislaid "Slade Alive", which is a cracker.
Our young band were singing a melody very similar to "Everyday" at rehersal the other day, and I thought it might be worth going whole hog and covering it.
Allways good and interesting chords stuck in Slade songs.
terrylamps It's from the magnificent Slade In Flame album, track
4, full title Summer Song (Wishing You Were Here). After all these years still one of the best live bands I've ever seen.
Mart Don`t forget Slade`s mega hit was actually recorded in a very hot summer session.
I wonder if the Summer Song was recorded at the same time. It would certaonly have been some lateral thinking.
zooloo A bit of surprise to see Slade.

A bit underrated as a band, especially live.

Slade aren't just for Christmas
Mart That`s a new Slade song for me that one.
Thought I knew most of them.
