Bern Ahhh - knew I'd heard the song before, now I remember where! Just goes to show you can't keep a good song down.
JK2006 Issue 149... I dug it up the moment I heard this (second rate) cover on the OC.
I'm sure you remember our pick way back then.
Bern ...and said I never programme from it, I have to admit I do like sampling other countries' charts to see if there's something we might want to give a go here.

This Sunday night on Core we've got a bit of an Australian special edition of "The Next Big Thing", and you'll hear a range of artists enjoying no record company promotion here, from pop Idols Kate DeAraugo and Shannon Noll to critically acclaimed retro rockers Wolfmother.

I have to say, the Aussies have good taste - the top 2 songs in their chart should be smashes here. At 2 - Sydney band Youth Group have an intelligent real hit with "Forever Young", also picked up on the OC Soundtrack vol. 5. It's only being outsold by "Flaunt It" by Melbourne-based TV Rock, THE biggest club tune for ages down under and hard to hear not being huge here.

Core, Sunday, 7pm... Thought you'd like to know first!
