Love the 'Lately' song by Dylan Singh.
Mart
Never fear Zoo and others , new single "The Innovations Report" available next week on I-tunes and it is downlaodable for free this weekend on the Myspace, next week pre-production starts on the next lot whilst Steve has a gap in October to fit us in.
"Maggie May" was a surprise choice, I went through the guys website a while back without reading the titles and thought "he is about to do "Maggie May in a minute," and he did!
As for "tonight Matthew, I`m going to be", run like the wind the Elvi are back on TV tonight!
Shall check the chart out now.
zooloo
I enjoyed the new No 1, Medical Card. Good voice.
Take Out the Trash - strangely retro-retro a good track, my memory of They Might Be Giants isn't positive. I was quite looking forward to making puns on "trash" but alas it's alright
Strange... derivative and familiar I'd say (Hooray an opportunity to pun on the title). Not a fan of this, too bland and too much "Tonight Matthew I'm going to be..."
Maggie May... but I don't
Mart is on the precipice, bye bye.
The Cat
My favourite song in the chart is still White Horses by Andrea Ross. Highest climber this week.
Same Number One.
Four new entries.
They Might Be Giants come in at 10 with a song from their current CD. On first listen it's not bad at all. On the second hearing it's better. I'll go back and listen to it again later to see if it keeps growing.
I thought there was only one Bob Dylan until I heard George Tucker at number 14. Actually I rather like it.
Good song at number 18 by Dylan Singh. Has to be heard to be appreciated.
Then there's Ben Mills at 20 with Maggie May. He does this fairly well, although maybe Rod still has the edge.
