Beat me to it Foxy;)
I don`t think it`s worthless either, but questionable in financial terms.
It`s a bit like physical releases currently is charting,I don`t want to release them, but the acts like to see them.
Given the choice between a cd release and a chart position though, I would rather invest in a campaign to promote a download to , what I suppose is "official status", (i.e, a chart that Grandma "gets")than a physical product, but there you go.
That said, I can`t knock Koopa at all in seriousness and I quite like them and we are , lets say , less than unconfident on joining them in their success.( we have a very nice sleeve!) |

Not worthless at all for KOOPA.
They have at last received Radio 1 play and a Radio 1 sesssion is happening soon. This would not have happened without sustained chart success.
Perhaps we are seeing that the DIY model is the way forward for new bands.
I am very impressed with Koopa and the way they have achieved their success by working closely with their fanbase and continuing to deliver songs that their growing fanbase clearly enjoy and believe in. |

Interesting money angle on the chart there.
