Mart	Ah! The Phillips digital recorder! I kid you not, we have a good number of them + the DAT recorders that look like handbags all with post-it notes on indicating breakage.
Michael	No 16s, but I do have an Edison toilet roll in bakelite (I'm sure it has a proper name, it's basically a roll with music engraved on it). But I don't have player for that one. When I think about it, I have a pretty good museum of redundant technology. The most recent useless thing being a Philips "digital" cassette. Remember those? For a while, it acted as a fantastic mobile recorder.
PBS	Not got a 16rpm now, but when I was a lot younger I remember we had one record that speed which was spoken word. That's the only one I've ever seen. We've still got about a dozen 78s in one of the cupboards.

Michael	Funny, I just saw two turntables in the catalogue of a major supermarket over here. One has a USB connection, while the other has - I licked my lips - 33/45 + 78 speeds! I wonder how many they will sell. I'm tempted. My old Philips turntable (which also runs at 16 rpm) is seriously worn out. Strange that this is being sold by a major supermarket.
