In my IMHO, there are so many independent labels out there these days. Not forgetting a lot of bedroom musicians are now trying their luck on YouTube. Many have saved and paid for their very own recording studios and pressings. Then there is Bandcamp.

Some have gone viral without any major backing apart from getting Likes and Shares from the public.
