Thanks for the opinions, guys! I'm helping this act out with various things, and was keen to get some objective opinions of the material.
Mart, do you mean the girl who was on first, who played slide on her last song? (excellent writer, iffy guitar sound)

I'd like to place her songs with other acts, I think she's a fine writer, as I said before, but the jury is out (in my head, anyway) as to whether she's got the whole package required to break through as an artist. |

I`ve heard this before, I`m racking my brains trying to track down where.
As PBS says, it is a grower, like it. I think it could do well, but not massive. We shall see.
BTW Red? Who was the girl(solo, not with the band) playing on The Mercury Men first showcase?
I picked one of hers out, but managed to lose her details. |

'Spin' is the sort of song that might grow on me, but on first listen to all four tracks I prefer 'Sinners'. Rachel has a strong voice, and each song is well written and likeable. Not so easy to judge with such short clips, but sounds like a lot of potential. |

'Spin' is a fantastic acoustic rock/soul anthem, and deserves to be a big hit, IMHO.
