Rich I was listening to this, went outside for a moment, came back and heard one of Kylie's recent offerings coming at me instead of Abba. Confused I actually thought my DAB radio had changed channel by itself. They must have been asleep to keep that broadcast error going for such a long time. An amateurish mistake.
Sean Radio 2 managed to wreck their well trailed Abba favourite hits countdown this afternoonn when having played the first hour they came back after the news and began playing the same hour all over again that had just been heard. This mistake went unnoticed for quite some time before breaking in with non Abba recent songs instead for a while and then an unnannounced fade out and fade back in of the show that was meant to be on air, having missed around about 7 tracks in their list in the meantime taking in close to half hour or so of broadcast time.

This all happened because this was a recorded show and would not have happened if it had been presented live. Which raises the question, that on a national BBC radio station in the middle of a Saturday afternoon should the presentation not actually be live to air?
