Rick	Loved Motown. The problem I had with Stax was the sax. Way too much of it, too bland, too routine. Otis on Motown would have been so much better IMHO.
JK2006	Whilst we all adored Motown, it's easy to overlook Stax (and Kenny Gamble in Philadelphia). But some terrific music came from all three places (and a few more). Booker T at Ronnie's is a gig I might sneak along to.
