dixie Her name is duffy, (i couldn't actually see her name in the above posts).

She's just completed a tour supporting Paul Heaton. An amazing voice, though she looked very nervious on stage.

I know she's a "huge priority" for Polydor, (the A&M label is part of Polydor), and expect her to do for Universal Music next year what Mika did for them this year - and Amy Winehouse last year.
JK2006 Thank you - I adored Dusty but hate Cerys' voice (I always hate those twee cutesey girly vocals)... you're spot on though and I think I have a smash song for her.
Anyone knows who does her A&R at A&M?
Duffy Vocally resembles a mix between Cerys Matthews and Dusty Springfield. Only heard the Rockferry track though.
