Rich	Great answer, thankyou very much. That was some classy backing singer there. She was gonna get along without you....about a year later very nicely. Dare To Dream is also a big favourite of hers mid eighties. Those wigs must definitely have done the trick you wanted if my own recollection is anything to go by. One For You One For Me is one of those songs that sounds childrens school disco, I think it got played at our primary school Christmas disco in 1978 and 1979, we had funny little tracks like that playing. Another we had was Knocked It Off by BA Robertson which we excitable boys turned into a dance about getting a certain body part knocked off down below, like only children could do!
JK2006	Oh yes Rich - it's still one of my pension earners. Found the wigs hidden away st the back of a shop in New Orleans when I was there at Mardo Gras wearing a business suit and thought I needed to make a statement. Decided it could assist the track into the charts, which it did. One of the girls with me on Top of the Pops was Viola Wills who went on to have hits of her own. For years people asked me if it was my real hair.
Rich	I remembered this from young childhood, not for the music, sorry, but for the permed afro rainbow wigs. I thought I'd never find out who did it, so you can imagine my surprise to discover it was none other than JK himself. A decades long mystery answered. Amazing what persistant googling can answer even with the most flimsy of evidence and lack of detail at hand. So is there a gay pride subliminal message in these rainbow wigs or am I just stamping 2024 all over 1978. Apparently they started using the rainbow colours for the first time in 1978. You weren't that on the ball were you JK? Must admit you did well to get to No29 with this in such a highly competitive and big selling year like '78. What's it all meant to mean then?
