Rich I apologise for the incorrect spelling of her surname, two l's not one. I have never noticed the extra letter before.

It was her real name too I was surprised to discover. I expected to see she was born Mavis Foster or something equally dull like many often are.
Green Man Very talented singer, she was our Nico.
Rich Marianne Faithful has died aged 78. Famous for big hits such as As Tears Go by, Come & Stay With Me, This Little Bird and Summer Nights in the mid sixties all top ten. She later came back and had the critically well acclaimed 1979 single The Ballad Of Lucy Jordan although it didn't sell that well.

You actually shared the UK Top Ten with her JK for a week in August 1965.
